Assessing Sams death on Supernatural – Part 3

i was personally shocked to find they killed Sam, although anyone who watches the show knew he wasn’t gonna stay dead. The beginning of the last episode they showed a ‘previously on supernatural’ and showed a deal being made at a crossroads (for people that don’t watch the show, that is where packs with demon’s are made or in this case a certain demon) and basically give away what dean was going to do to save his brother. Which i do believe spoiled the episode slightly.

Sam’s death was tear jerking which i believe Jensen Ackles (the actor who plays dean) played a big part in. Throughout season one and two we have seen how protective dean is over his little brother ‘Sammy’ although ‘Sammy’ is much taller than dean himself it is very clear who is the oldest and most protective, and having dean witness Jake running towards Sam and not being able to get there in time to save him was so heart wrenching to watch.
