Do I believe in Ghost Yes!
Have I all my life Yes.
Have I seen a ghost and that a yes too.
I have seen many ghosts in my life.
I remember seeing ghosts at a very young age and not understand what I was seeing. I was scared but yet very intrigued at the same time. I grew up in a home that this stuff was normal. I remember seeing white figures near me when I’d would wake up in the middle of the night. But what made me believe that I was seeing a ghost was when I was the tender age of 8 and woke up to my dead cousin talking to me from above my bed close to the ceiling. He didn’t say anything at first just smiled down at me with a warm smile on his face. He had passed away 2 years early at the age of 6 from a car accident. He was my best friend and I was so devastated that he wasn’t coming back to me. The pain I went through from the lose of him left me in such a state for two years. I remember all I kept thinking about was he ok. And how lonesome I was for him. Then at 8 he appear as clear as day. But he had another person with him that was smiling down at me too. I was so terrified that I shook uncontrollable my bed was knocking on the wall like it was a door. I had my little dog Tootie’s at the time and she was growling and looking up at my cousin who seem to be floating on the ceiling with this other gentleman. I was just looked up and couldn’t understand why he was there.
Then he spoke in a soft and gentle voice and told me he was ok and happy and that I shouldn’t worry about him anymore. I needed to get on with my life. That he loved me but he wanted to let me know that he was really happy where he was. He said this a few times and the male figure just kept smiling down on me. Then I notice this male figures hair and beard. He look like Jesus. He was so gentle looking but yet he was scary to my 8 year old eyes.
What bothered me the most was not seeing my cousin but seeing this male figure beside him smiling down at me. I was so afraid that even though I was shaking uncontrollably I couldn’t’ move. I was parlayed to my bed. When my cousin finally stopped speaking my dog really started to growl and bark. Then as if he was never there he disappeared into thin air. As he left my mother came running in my room really worried about me. I told her my story and she just said that maybe my cousin knew I need to hear from him. And with that my mother hug me and tried to explain about ghost and spirits. Then she told me that I was lucky to see him. Then kiss me good night and I fell asleep happy for the first time in two years. That was my first time but not my last!
Living in a haunted house – Part 17

I believe I do. Things come up missing in our house and found in the strangest places. Certain rooms in hte house have "weird" vibes in them. Then, just the other day this guy came into where I work and asked if I thought my house was haunted. I asked him why and he said , before you moved in I was the one that cleaned the place( I know this is true I have met him while we were moving in) He said while cleaning the basement he would have to step out often because he would be cleaning and then all of a sudden there would be an old lady standing there watching him. He said he always got a weird feeling in certain parts of the place, same places I feel "icky".
I want to find the history on this place, whether someone has died there but I don’t know how to go about doing that. It’s all kinda creepy but as long as this ghost or whatever it is doesn’t bother us in a bad way I’m ok with her being there.
Ghosts In Our House – One True Story

I am always approached by people who wonder why ghosts are in their homes. They tell me a story of things that are happening in their home and then ask me why. I have my usual set of standard questions and then what I believe to be a rational explanation. But what happens when the paranormal investigator’s house is visited by a ghost?
My own home has recently been visited by a ghost. My daughter had complained of a visitor but I rather shrugged it off. My daughter is not a young kid and old enough to know right from wrong and the difference between reality and not, but the things that were occurring in this detached studio were far more interesting than most places I get the chance to investigate.
My daughter would tell me stories of things happening and, as a mother, I would listen and then ask questions. I figured that she was sleeping and having a dream or that she was just dozing off and having a dream. I didn’t doubt what she was saying, just wasn’t sure under what conditions she was relaying this information to me. It wasn’t until I realized that she was actually beginning to get scared. Not scared of the ghost but just generally scared that it wasn’t going away. She didn’t mind it visiting but when the voices started, she was just a bit freaked out.
Over the course of time this ghost would really tease my daughter. He was setting off the motion detectors that led to her studio directly behind our house. There were three of them. One detector was lit as you walked down the driveway toward the garage which was detached. You would then jog right and another detector would set off. You would walk about 6-7 paces and turn left. You would walk another 5-6 paces and set off another detector while you were walking up the deck and to her door. These were being set off for no good reason. First, I surmised it might have been a cat, squirrel or even another rodent. Fortunately, the rodent part wasn’t true because we set out traps and never caught anything. There were cats around but they never ran away if we walked outside or made any noises and the same with a possible squirrel. The detectors would go on and there were no noises. That went on for probably two months. Then came the footsteps.
I have described the layout of the area and if you recall, after walking up the driveway and jogged right you would end up walking on a wooden foot path. This became obvious footsteps after the first two detectors would go on. This went on for another month and then the footsteps could be heard not only on the wooden foot path but also were beginning to walk onto the deck that led to her door. While they were not stomping steps, they were hard foot falls like a man would make. At least this is how she described it to me. She said the steps coming up to her deck were enough to wake her at 3 or 4 in the morning and since she had no curtains on the windows, she was able to see out and there was no one standing on the deck. She even got brave once and looked out the side of the blinds and noted that there was no one there, not even a small person. This continued for another few months and really began to bother her.
Finally, the last straw was the voices. She would hear humming if she were in the shower. She would hear a voice talking lowly in the living area of the room. She would hear voices if she walked up the path or onto the deck. She was getting kind of ticked off by this time as she wasn’t able to get a good night’s sleep. She asked me if I would investigate. Of course, I said yes.
I sat outside her little studio room for three nights. No full moon. No lights. I just sat with my cameras and recorders. I talked to him. I sang to him. I asked him questions. I had hoped I would get a response. From 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. I sat in various positions on the deck, the foot path and driveway and nothing. I got nothing. No pictures. No recordings. Nothing.
On the third day, I tried again. Talking. Singing. Pictures. Recorders. EMF meters. Temperature sensors. I took a few pictures and finally, I thought I saw something in my little 2 X 2 digital screen. I stood in the same place and took another. Always take two for comparison.
I went to bed and the next day I loaded the pictures onto the computer and was dismayed. I didn’t see anything unusual until I looked closer. There on the screen was a ribbon. A ribbon of energy. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I caught it. I caught whatever it was….a ghost, the energy, the anomaly!!! I was ecstatic. That next day I showed it to my daughter. She told me that that night she had the best sleep she has had in a long time because nothing happened.
While I have tried to find reasons to who it was, what was going on or why, I still don’t have answers. I do know that the gentleman (or whoever it is) still comes around. You can tell. You can feel his presence. He is not as noise. Not as obvious, but he’s there….and he’s welcome at my house!!
I suppose ghosts really do happen in many different places. Even those places you least expect. Never discount those that come to visit. Just like Santa Claus, put out a cookie or two and some milk or a beer. They may appreciate the act of kindness!!

How some of us are able to see ghosts – Part 4

I believe that some people are able to see ghosts and spirits. Personally, I’ve never seen a ghost or even wish to. I believe that some people are more susceptible or gifted to seeing beyond the physical. Some people have greater intuition and among those who have intuition, some people trust their intuition more. Some people are great athletes. Some are great musicians. Some people can see ghosts, at least at given times.
Sighting
I know Nala Napaapuk, a man who is well regarded by his community. He is of sound judgment and is respected for his knowledge, wisdom, and skill. He is now an old man. He once told this story to a group. When he was a enterprising young man, he went was out hunting in winter. He had settled his dogs and build his igloo. It was now dusk but not too dark to work outside. Nala was harvesting peat-moss for sled runners. Eskimo dog sleds are traditionally coated with frozen peat, which in turn is coated in ice. This makes for a easier glide and therefore faster travel.
As Nala was chipping the peat, he looked up to his igloo and saw a figure coming his way. The figure was a man in a white coat, striding along quickly and towing a small sled. Nala watched in silence as the man kept coming his way. Apparently the man in the white coat was oblivious to being watched.
Nala, the peat harvester looked on. The person was odd, certainly no one Nala knew. Nala kept looking as the approaching man came closer still. Nala becoming increasingly nervous, shouted a greeting. The man in white stopped on his tracks. The two eyed each other. Nala got to his feet, keeping his eyes on the man in white. The two stood motionless and in silence for moments.
As Nala watched, the other man transformed himself into one of Nala’s dog. A white dog with some black patches. Nervously, Nala took a step back. He glancing quickly backward so as not to stumble. In that instant, the man transformed into dog was gone.
Nala astounded gather his things and went to his igloo. All his dogs were lying in the snow peacefully near the igloo. Even the white dog with black patches was asleep. The dogs did not even stir from their sleep as Nala went to his igloo. Dogs are notorious for sensing things out of the ordinary, even spiritual things.
The young man who picked up a stone
I was out on a big hunting party one summer. We were camping on a small island, which has inhabited by Inuit for many generations. There are graves all over the ridges and hills on this island.
One can walk around the island easily during the day and see some sights. A young man was walking along a ridge alone, in a bright beautiful day. The young man stopped at a pile of rocks, which was not even a grave site. He picked up a stone from the ground. As he picked up a stone, he heard someone say “he is taking a stone.”
The young man looked toward the original of the voice. No one could be seen. He was on a ridge on the open tundra. He was sure the speaker was a ghost.
Some people are able to see ghosts or being of the paranormal. Some just hear the voices of the ghosts.
Seeing ghosts – Part 1

I have seen a few “Ghosts” but i prefer to think them as the trace spirit left by the human that passed on. Rather than just a ghost, most ghosts are just looking for away to contact the human world not many people will be abloe to se them but alot of people can sens ewhen they are in a room building or even in the street. but there are also spirits out there that, arnt so level and do wish ill things even though these do not useually get manifested into a coporial form.
I have seen Ghosts on many occasian in my own home, my friends homes and even pubs and clubs, but i do tend to sense them more than see them. I follow a pagan religion, and i have asome empathic ability which opens me up to the world so i am able to sense things some people carn’t i do not kno whow to explain it , or even say for defiant that i am empathic i jst knw these things its strange, but this does enable me to know when a ghost is near me or my friends, and i am able to do somthing about it.
If you think that a ghost is bothering you can ask it to leve by useing a firm and powerful voice and also creating a loveing and light atmosphere near it this normaly works but never be hostile as this can make things worse.
Ok so on to my experience about see ghosts.
i was only young when i first saw a ghost, obviousl i jst thought i was seeing things, but it was a tall balck huded figer crossing the hall way in my home blocking the entrance to my room, obvioulsy being so young i rant to my mother nd told her, but wen we went back there was nothing there, but later that night when i was sleep i woke up with a pressure on my chest asif some one was psitting on me nd when i opened my eyes there was the figer st on my chest on the bed, now i just want to say i dnt know if this was real or jst my imagineation from what i had saw but i was definately awake so i think it is real.
Believing in ghosts – Part 7

I believe that there are several different types of ghosts. Some want to remain on earth, but others do not. Some are residential spirits, but others only visit once.
To me, ghosts exist for a reason. They exist to prove to us that life after death does really happen. They exist, so that we can have a reason to believe in something that is larger than us, but most of all, they exist to show us that we can overcome death.
Ghosts can come in many different forms. There can be human ghosts, or there can be nonhuman ghosts. It is the ghost in human form who is the one who returns for a reason, or either remains on earth not realizing that they are dead. The ghosts in nonhuman form live in their own little world, which then crosses with our world. The human ghosts come to our world and sometimes we see them. The nonhuman ghosts remain in their world and sometmes our worlds collide.
I like to believe that when we die, we have a choice. We can either return to earth as a ghost or we can go to heaven. Ghosts prove that we can choose to come to earth for a reason sometimes, either because we want to visit loved ones or just to prove to somebody that we are really there.
Why are we scared of ghosts? – Part 6

There are so many things to be scared of in this world. You can be scared of illness, of failure, of being alone. It seems to me though, the most widely held fear is not that of this world of all, but of the next. The fear of ghosts, or spirits, or supernatural beings, is a fear held true by many, played up by the media, all the while being publicly embraced.
The fear of ghosts is an easy fear to justify. The truth of the matter simply being that as human beings, we love three things; knowing everything, having control over everything, and knowing how to predict what we don’t have control over. The supernatural fits none of these, which is in part hat makes it so spectacular. As human beings, we fear what we do not know. Whether it is a curiosity based fear or a deep petrified fear, we always fear what we don’t know. It’s proven through history. Every great invention, every great idea, was at one point in time feared. Take civil rights, or space exploration, or the common surgery. All were feared.
The basis of fear of ghosts comes from the unknown. We know hardly anything about the afterlife, whether or not there is one is topic for debate. We have no idea what ghost really look like, because not everyone sees them, and even more so, we fear those who can. We fear the idea that there may be nothing after death, that we may just be spirits wandering around. With this we fear the undoing of civilized religion, and we fear the damnation of believing in something other than religion.
Not a single thing about the afterlife, ghosts, or the paranormal in general is known. At least not known as a fact. Across the world, many different cultures have many different views on ghosts. Many embrace the thought of a spiritual after life, partially led here on earth, while others believe we go somewhere else when we die, nowhere near here.
Things with the paranormal and ghosts are not and have never been very clear. Many people’s view today are contradictory. A prime example; The majority of Americans celebrate Halloween. Yet not many stop to think about what there actually celebrating. The origin behind Halloween was to not only celebrate the dead, but believers would put to plates of food for their ancestors, inviting them to come have a meal with them. It is probably safe to say, most American don’t think about this.
While Americans as a whole are typically quite scared of ghosts, many societies in the rest of the world are not. Actually, many embrace the idea of spirits and ghost wandering around the world with us day to day. Their religion and society does and has accepted it for years and they have grown up with the idea, thus limiting the unknown to them. They readily embrace and reach out to ghosts simply because they do not fear them, they respect them.
Taking something taboo or something feared and making it readily available and acceptable to society is a large task, but it has been done in the past. Perhaps one day, we will live day to day with ghosts and not fear them. Perhaps we will seek them out to learn form them, or ask their advices, or hear their stories. Perhaps.but not with so much fear, and to beat that we must knowso the real question is who is wiling to take the first step?
Did the Amityville Horror really occur?

“The Amityville Horror”. No I haven’t seen the movie but, I do know the story. A typical family moves into a house when suddenly strange occurances start to happen and it seems something is either tormenting or trying to kill this innocent family.
Now I’m only 14 but ever since I was a little boy I have been facinated with the supernatual, paranormal, ect, and have learned a lot from my research of the sort, so I have several conclusions of what may have been tormenting this poor family.
1. Spirits and Poltergeist
Hauntings, are usually asociated with ghost or spirits. Hauntings may be scary but they are usually not left in a place to torment people, but are left on earth for unfinished buisness, mabe waiting for a long lost love, or revenge on the person that may have killed them. But in The Amityville Horrors’ case it sounds like we may be dealing with a Poltergeist, a spirit with a harmful nature, as in the movie “Poltergeist”. In this movie a family and other related characters are tormrnted and killed by an angry ghost or in other words a Poltergeist.
2. Indian Burrial Ground
In this conclision I believe the foundation of the house may have been built on an Indian Burrial Ground. In such cases the house and the people living in it may have awakened restful spirts and the spirits or should I say poltergeist won’t go to R.I.P. untill the family moves so the start tormenting tha family.
3. Deamons
This may be one of the scariest cases this family may have dealt with, if they dealt with anything. In this case they may have been dealing with the devil himself. Maybe him and his deamons wanted to torment the family first until they got to the point of claiming the familie’s soul, trust me this is a very real situation
4. A HOAX
This if real is the most disapointing result I have come up with. Think about it a new family moving into a new town start making up stories of spirits tormenting them and hurting them. They may have just wanted attention from a large audiance, the’re names in books, and famous movie stars playing as them in large box offices movies. It is to me as I said a very disapointing conclusion, but is the most likely.
Why are we scared of ghosts? – Part 9

Ghosts represent the unknown, they can be quite startling to some people and quite friendly for others. It all depends upon how open an individual is to the dimension or plane, that ghosts, or spirits exist.
No body likes to see something that is not really there, or is it? We all live in a three dimensional world and our thought patterns and habits are built into us from an early age.
Most of us like to travel by motor vehicle and we think nothing of it. The fact that there is a thin piece of metal separating us from the road surface below, is far from our minds when some of us career down a coarsely graveled road at the speeds that we do, sometimes less than a foot away from it.
If one were to remove that piece of metal and were to take a good look, I am sure that most of us would not venture on to the highway at all. A ghost is sort of like peeling away that metal. Ghosts are everywhere, but we can only see what we expect and want to see, by building and reinforcing safe enclosures around ourselves.
Ghosts are scarey to us because they do not factor into our mortal lives. They represent a dimension that we are trained not to see. They have no sense of time or gravity, giving them license of freedom from the constraints of this earthly world. They can appear and disappear when ever they want and when they do this, we find it very alarming as we are only used to our particular time and physical being.
There are two basic types of ghosts or spirits. One being the ghost as we call it, that haunts this earthly plane as if looking for resolution from their previous existence. The other is a spirt that has passed over quite calmly and visits loved ones here from time to time.
Quite frankly, if my grandfather appeared in front of me, I’d jump out of my skin as it would not seem like a logical and feasible occurrence to me. I’d love to see him again but part of me cringes when I think that there might be a possibility of it happening.
I know I’m going to die one day, it will happen to all of us, but whilst I’m on this planet, I do like to remain open about the after-life. I mean, energy just doesn’t go away, it has to go somewhere? It seems logical to me that my energy will have that imprint of me on it, with all the years I have served as a human being. In my opinion, there must be a place for that in the universe somewhere.
Ghosts scare us because we need to feel secure and know that everything around us is as normal as it can be.
Living in a haunted house – Part 11

The house I live in and the surrounding area is haunted. When I first moved into this house; I believe there was only four or five ghosts. Since I moved in; there has been at least three more ghosts have moved in.
The first two ghosts that are here belong to my uncles who have died over fifty years ago. One of uncles use to smoke cigars while he was alive. Several people has claimed they have smelled cigar smoke when I don’t have any close neighbors who smoke cigars.
The next three ghosts who are here belong to three teenagers. The three teenagers died in a jeep accident pretty close to my house in the early sixties. They died on either Halloween night or on prom night.
Several people comes out to try and see the three teenagers because you can see the headlights of the jeep going down the road I live near too. I have seen the headlights myself. The reason I know this is not a vehicle coming down the road is because the lights can get real close to you and you can’t hear anything.
The next two ghosts who lives here belongs to my grandparents. My mother and I both heard a few things of what they use to say while they alive. We would also see a flash of color. The colors we saw is the same color they use to wear.
The last ghost who moved in belongs to my mother. My brother and I have noticed things being moved in her house when we thought we put something in one place and then later; it would be gone. I believe my mother came back to the place she loved.
There are other reasons why I think my place is haunted.I have seen and heard too many things on this place not to believe this place is haunted.
