Reflections: What would you ask a ghost? – Part 3

First of all, if I recovered from the heart attack I had after seeing a ghost, I believe my first question would be, “Are You a child of God’s, do you believe that Jesus is the son of God”, if it doesn’t answer or says “NO”, then I would know its an evil spirit and ask it to leave ..

If the ghost was a Child of God’s, I would have millions of questions to ask, like why did it appear to me, is it a deceased relative or friend. Is all my loved ones that have crossed over in Heaven, or is Heaven here on earth like lots of people think and my loved ones are right here with me in spirit, and thats why there’s no tears in Heaven, for all the one’s thats passed on are here and can see us so they can be Happy and at peace.

I would ask what the journey was like when they crossed over, is there really a tunnel with a bright light at the end. Does a loved one come to help them cross over. And why do some people have ghost experiences and others don’t.

And what is the difference between a ghost and a spirit, or they the same. I know there are good spirits and bad, and that some spirits have never lived in Human form, where other spirits have, so I would be really curious to know the answer to this question.

All of my questions would be dealing with death and the after life, I would like the ghost to explain Bible scriptures to me that are puzzling. Like, the dead no nothing, let the dead bury the dead. And if the dead stay in the grave until Jesus returns, and if thats so, like a lot of Preachers say, then why does the Bible talk about a brother going to Heaven and the other in Hades asking his brother for water to cool his burning tongue.

I could go on and on, but the ghost would have been long gone before I was finished with my questions, So I guess this is why a ghost hasn’t appeared before me, they know I can talk way too much on subjects I want to know about.

Reflections: Living in a haunted house – Part 9

What is a haunting? A haunting is when strange things happen in a building and there are cold spots where there could be no draft. The energy is not really cold, it just puts a cold response in the air. The ghost (spirit) will not leave from the building. It is an other worldly presence that makes itself known by various means.

Spirit presence can turn on the electricity, the water, many appliances and generally move things around to confuse the earth inhabitant. They can see and hear the people living in the building around which they are stuck, but they can not be heard or acknowledged. This just adds frustration to their condition. There are many interested mediums that can attune to this energy and help them find their way onward into spirit condition.

Who is haunting? We are all body, mind, spirit. When the physical body dies the spirit is set free. For those that have no knowledge of an afterlife, they remain around the earth haunting their previous places of interest such as their home, business, maybe a local bar, etc. People with addictions (such as alcoholism) draw the spirit of those with the same addictions. Imagine a bar filled with those who wish to continue their habits. The spirit is ’stuck’ by its own fears of going onward into a spirit vibration.

The tunnel and white light referenced in much literature is real. When there is fear to enter into either because of many fearful issues of the individual spirit, they are then stuck around the earth.

Why are they there haunting? When the spirit is stuck around the earth plane existence, they are stuck by their own fears. They have no knowledge of an afterlife and progress in spirituality.

There can be a lot of frustration engendered by someone ignoring you. When they are not heard or seen, they sometimes don’t even realize they are ‘dead’. The spirit has woke up alive.

When religious or spiritual ideas are entrenched, the spirit is seeking some solace in their beliefs, which can actually keep them stuck. There was an idea that all people would wait at their graves until Gabriel blew his horn to call them home. Imagine going into a cemetery on earth where all those spirits with this idea are waiting the call.

Reflections: What would you ask a ghost? – Part 1

Let us first define the word ghost. In the dictionary the word ghost means: the soul of a dead person believed to be an inhabitant of the unseen world or to appear to the living in bodily likeness.

So, now having that meaning could I really speak to a ghost? My answer would have to be yes.

My question to the ghost would have to “Are you here to harm me or help me?” As long as the ghost doesn’t want to harm me then I am sure that I would have at least hundred more questions. Such as, “Why was I the chosen one which you have come to? Do you need my assistance? How can I help you?” Another good question I have would be “can you tell me if my great grand parents are doing well and do they miss me?”

But, overall, I think that my chances of talking with a ghost is pretty slim. After all, I have lived this long and never has a ghost ever approached me before. But that doesn’t mean that I do not believe in ghost nor do I believe in ghost. I guess I will find out when that time comes and then maybe I can write another article on how I handle my conversations with the ghost. Maybe by then I would have more proof and more to write on. But since it has not happened yet I am not even sure on how I would even re-act if I even saw a ghost.

Not everyone believes in haunted house, especially if you have ever visited a halloween hanuted house. The tendency to think it it somehow a joke from someone you know makes you skeptical. I did not believe in ghosts or houses that were supposingly haunted by them. I used laugh at my friends who swore up and down they saw a ghost. That was until we rented a big old victorian house shortly after my husband and I got married.

The house was beautfull with rich oak trim and a winding staircase leading up to the second floor. It had leaded glass windows in the dining where a fireplace was tucked neatly in the corner. This was my favorite room, sunny during the day and cozy at night with a roaring fire to dine by.

My first inclination that something was amiss was the door in the parlor. Sometimes it opened with a turn of the knob and sometimes it felt as if someone was on the other side holding it shut. My husband said it was becasue the wood swells wiht the humidity i the house. What humidity? It was April not July when we moved in. i have to admit to going out of my way to try that door every day. The door did not fail me in my couriosity; sometimes it refused to open when I turned the door knob.

Perhaps my husband was right, the house was built in 1897 so anything was possible. Old wood in a very old house seemed to be his only answer. It was shortly after his rendition of old houses with old wood I saw her.

Standing in my dining room, hands resting on my hundred year old oak table, stood a ghost! I was in the living room sitting on the sofa, the table lamp on next to me, feet propped up polishing my fingernails. I had a straight view into the dining room. Directly in front of me, no more than ten feet away stood a real live ghost, or should I say very dead person.

Have you ever experienced a time when you thought you saw something? You immediately blink and look again but it was gone. I blinked and I blinked, but she was still there. A young woman probably early twenties, dressed in a long sleeved blouse with cuffs, a skirt that touched the floor. Staring at me from my dining room was a GHOST! When I jumped up she disappeared, evaporated or whatever ghosts do when they leave. She was definitely gone.

I ran around like a crazy woman turning on lights. First upstairs checking on my children, then back down stairs checking on her. Muttering to myself “Ghost, I just saw a ghost”! Oh, she was gone now, but she had been there, I know what I saw.

Reflections: Psychic vampires – Part 1

Psychic vampirism. What exactly is it? Who is defined as a psychic vampire? How can one protect their self from a psychic vampire? It may all sound very mystical and in the minds of many just hearing the word vampire invokes images of a cloaked figure lurking in the darkness, sharp fangs pointing from their mouth ready to take your blood. Well psychic vampires are a far cry from their less than respectable counterparts.

By now I’m sure you are wondering what a psychic vampire could possibly be. A psychic vampire takes energy rather than blood from its victims. This energy is a necessity to the psychic vampire. They require it as a way of compensating for their own compromised energy system. Psychic vampires are generally very draining to be around. They may be an entirely pleasant person and you may enjoy their company, but after you visit with them you feel tired even weak. Some people who are exposed to someone who is a psychic vampire can become physically ill. Not to worry if you have been hanging out with a psychic vampire your own energy system will eventually come back to its normal balance.

In the “normal” vampire lore people who have been bitten by a vampire would eventually their self become one as well. With psychic vampires this is rarely the case. Through extreme cases where the victim was exposed to the psychic vampire for prolonged amounts of time with little chance to recover in between the victim may in fact become a psychic vampire as their own energy system would be compromised to the point where it is extremely difficult to regain what strength they had lost.

The problem with most psychic vampires is that they themselves do not know that they are psychic vampires. In this respect they have no idea of what they are doing to the people around them. More dangerous is the psychic vampire who knows what they are. There are several traits that many psychic vampires share. They may find that they have an urge to help people to the point that individuals begin to rely on them and if someone in this case were to attempt to refuse their help they may become very defensive and try to persuade them by bringing up all of the help they have done for them in the past. Psychic vampires tend to be very secretive about their own feelings and in fact about anything pertaining to who they are. They try to avoid divulging any information about themselves. They are also generally obsessive compulsives they obsess about their

A deal of a life time! We happened to stumble across a yard sale one afternoon, only to discover that the many pieces of linen and pillows flung across the lawn were being aired out. “What’s the sale about?” my husband asked, “A pick your own sheet sale?” My husband’s humorous comments were soon cut short by the response, “No, I just discovered that my father had passed away a couple of weeks ago in bed. The house smells terrible; I’ll never be able to sell it.” That was the beginning of the negotiations that led to the purchase of the Paddleton house at half its market value. Once we had gained title to the property, we made immediate plans to renovate.

Everything had been left behind and as we emptied the contents and rummaged through old boxes we discovered that Mrs. Paddleton and her son had also been found dead in the house some ten years prior. We found many interesting things but it wasn’t until I discovered all the handmade linen that I became emotionally attached to the house. Some linen I set aside for rags and others were so beautiful that I decided to keep them.

We worked diligently every evening and every weekend to make the house livable but it was the afternoon that we began painting that I believe it all began. Having dripped a few drops of paint on the floor, I decided to rip one of those pieces of linen to wipe it up. As I tore the cloth, a flash of light whizzed past my head and into the room my husband was working in next to me. “What the heck was that?” I heard him yell. We discounted the occurrence and decided that it must have been some reflection of some sort.

In the weeks that followed our experiences began to increase. First and foremost, the overwhelming smell of baked apple pie was constantly present. Even when the kitchen had been completely removed, and the house had been fogged with an odor eliminator, we could still smell apple pie. Our tools would disappear, and the most bizarre disappearance was the toilet bowl top. Both my husband and I argued that the other had misplaced things but our tools kept vanishing.

And then, there was the cold room door that we just couldn’t open. We had actually given-up trying because we could not find the crowbar. We decided to lean our sheets of drywall up against it and worry about it later. One morning at about 3:30 am we were startled by a huge crash. We both ran downstairs to see what had happened. When we had turned on the lights we made a startling
