The Belief in Faeries

Garden faeries in the flowers,

Forest faeries in the wood

Fairies really do exist

Faeries bad and faeries good

You may argue that they don’t

But the proof is plain to me

Faeries -like all other Magic

Require that you believe

Faeries live down in the glade

By each waterfall and pond

Faeries rings – enchanting things

Sparkling crystals, magic wands

Pookahs, gnomes and hobgoblins

Elves who cobble shoes

Tiny sprites like twinkle lights

Can conjure the morning dew

As rainbows arch in skies overhead

Banshees, brownies,leprechauns

Hide in the shadows all the day then

Slide down moonbeams from dusk to dawn

Many the thing between heaven and earth

Might this pair of eyes deceive

But of one thing I’m fairly certain -

In faeries I do believe
