Of chills and thrills and heart stopping shocks! Of tricks and treats and no way to retreat from the pull of a great ghost story. They bring friends together in a terrifying bond of friendship and insecurity. If you are lucky enough to experience a ghost out of the flesh you will become a legend within your own community. But be careful, because the legend is also a challenge of proof. Can your heart handle the fright or will you become one that floats among the living looking for a lost soul to collect?

If you are looking for ghostly beings or just a good story there are a few rules to follow for success.

1. Where ever you find your ghost or base your story you must remember there has to be a history of some kind. Murder, suicide, Indian burial grounds, broken hearts, ect.

2. Your ghost must have a purpose for existing. Such as warning others, looking for a soul to collect, revenge or any other such lost emotions that need to be fulfilled.

3. Your ghost must give some kind of warning it is about to appear. Something to make your bones rattle with fear. Move furniture, lights going on and off, chills in the air, crying and screams and whispers so soft no human could make them.

4. An appearance to you or someone else when there isn’t anyone else around to back up the story. Sometimes it is allow for two persons together to see one ghostly figure fade from sight. But never would a ghost appear to a group of people. They do not like large groups together, soul searching is much better when taken one at a time.

5. Finally you have a close escape from the spirit trying to harvest your soul. With a twist of fate or whispered advise from another spirit you are saved by only moments. But the last words you hear are a warning of return for another soul in the dark.

Remember to always tell your story in the dark of night, somewhere lonely where others do not go. Leave your listeners waiting for their own soul to feel the reapers revenge without hope of escape like you had.
